Travel and Location

The historic town of Tavira lies 30km to the east of Faro, the Algarve's main airport.  The A22 is the primary motorway road taking you to Tavira with a journey time of approximately 30 minutes.  The E125 also runs along the coastal strip of the Algarve.

Travelling to Tavira could not be easier with many airlines offering low cost flights into Faro. You can also fly into Seville which is just 1 1/2 hours drive from Tavira.  Below are a selection of flight companies you may wish to use and who offer flights from a variety of destinations in the EU:
